Now that summer break is quickly approaching, I again have the urge to write. So often this past year I have thought about writing, updating about our life, the adventures of Alex and Liam, fun recipes I have tried. Yet at the end of the day or during the weekend I cannot bring myself to do it. Life moves so quickly, and I have trouble keeping up. I think that is why I like taking pictures so much. A picture to me is worth more than a 1000 words, especially when it is much easier to take a picture then to write. My memories are kept safe in the pictures I take.
All throughout the year I am writing. Writing lesson plans, notes to parents, anecdotal records, behavior notes, emails.
Summer is so beautiful because it gives us a chance to enjoy life in a different way.
So I think I will be a summer writer. I am a summer reader too.
It's going to be a good summer.
