You need:
3/4 cup minced onion
1 1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup margarine
9 cups bread cubes (I used whole wheat)
2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp crushed sage leaves
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp pepper
- In a large skillet cook and stir onion and celery in butter until onion is tender. add spices
- stir in bread.
- stuff turkey just before roasting
- makes 9 cups enough for 12 lb turkey (I doubled the recipe)
