You need:
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
4 large eggs
1 can (29 oz) pure pumpkin
2 cans evaporated milk
2 unbaked 9 inch pie crusts
- Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in a small bowl.
- Beat eggs in a large bowl
- stir in pumpkin and spice mixture
- stir in evaporated milk
- pour into pie shells
- baking a preheated 425 oven for 15 minutes
- reduce temp to 350 and bake for 40-50 minutes
the good think is pumpkin pies improve with age! :)
perfect with a dollup of whipped cream!
